Ving Rhames Hospitalised After Collapsing at Los Angeles Restaurant

Actor Ving Rhames has been hospitalised after collapsing while dining at a restaurant in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.

The Mission: Impossible star, 66, was eating with his family when the medical incident occurred at around 1:40 p.m. local time, according to a source cited by TMZ.

Emergency services were called to the scene after reports of a man in his 60s needing assistance. Fire department personnel responded and transported the actor to hospital for treatment.

Rhames’ representative told the outlet that the actor may have “overheated” and confirmed that he is currently in stable condition. As of publication, he remained under observation in hospital.

The actor is best known for his roles in major Hollywood productions including Pulp Fiction and the long-running Mission: Impossible franchise.

Rhames shares two children—daughter Reign, 26, and son Freedom, 24—with his wife, Deborah Reed, whom he married in 2020. He was previously married to Valerie Scott from 1994 to 1999.
