    Wavinya Ndeti Lands Government Appointment, After Losing Election Petition.

    Former Machakos gubernatorial candidate Wavinya Ndeti has landed a government job as the the chairperson of the governing council Kenya Institute of Water.

    She will be at the helm of the council for the next three years and her appointment took effect on February 7.

    Wavinya Ndeti had contested the Machakos gubernatorial race and lost to Alfred Mutua. She petitioned at the courts but the supreme court which upheld the election of the governor Mutua.

    The Supreme Court on Friday upheld Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua August 8 election.

    The court has declared that Mutua was validly elected as the governor.
