At La Habra, Hillman competed in football, basketball, and track and field. He also played in Snoop Youth Football League, founded by rapper Snoop Dogg (formerly known as Snoop Lion).

Hillman helped lead his high school football team to the 2008 CIF Southern Section Southwest Division championship, establishing himself as a promising young running back.

College Football Career

Hillman played college football at San Diego State University, representing the San Diego State Aztecs football program.
