Where Are Todd and Julie Chrisley Now? Inside the Reality TV Couple’s Life One Year After Prison Release

Todd and Julie Chrisley have now been out of prison for one year following a dramatic legal saga that reshaped the future of their once-popular reality TV empire.
The couple first rose to fame in 2014 through the USA Network series Chrisley Knows Best, which followed the affluent Georgia-based family led by Todd and Julie alongside their children Chase, Savannah, and Grayson. The show also featured Todd’s older children, Lindsie and Kyle, as well as family matriarch Faye Chrisley, with Chloe—Kyle’s daughter—also raised within the household.
For nearly a decade, the Chrisleys built a brand around their lavish lifestyle and family dynamics. But behind the scenes, financial scrutiny was mounting. In 2019, Todd and Julie were indicted on 12 counts including bank fraud, wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy.
Conviction and prison sentences
Although the couple denied wrongdoing, they were convicted in June 2022 and later sentenced in November of that year to a combined 19 years in federal prison. They began serving their sentences in January 2023 at separate facilities.
During their incarceration, their daughter Savannah became a vocal advocate for their release, working publicly and politically to push for clemency while also caring for her younger brother Grayson and niece Chloe.
Presidential pardon and release
In a major turning point, Todd and Julie were granted a full pardon by President Donald Trump on May 27, 2025. They were released from prison the following day after serving a little over two years behind bars.
Following their release, members of the Chrisley family travelled to reunite with the couple. Days later, Todd and Savannah held a press conference where he thanked supporters who “prayed for us and stayed in the fight.”
A White House spokesperson described the pardon as part of efforts to offer “a second chance” to individuals considered to have been unfairly prosecuted.
Their return home was later documented in the Lifetime special The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, which aired in September 2025.
Where Are Todd and Julie Chrisley Now?
Since their release, Todd and Julie have slowly rebuilt their public presence. The couple relaunched their podcast Chrisley Confessions, where they discuss family life and reflect on their prison experience.
Todd has also remained active in public speaking and political events, while Julie is reportedly preparing to launch a cooking show, announced in December 2025. The pair also appeared together on season 14 of The Masked Singer, marking a return to mainstream entertainment.
The Chrisley family has continued to attract public attention even after their legal troubles.
Savannah Chrisley has expanded her career with her brand GoodGirlRX and continues hosting her podcast Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley. Chase and Grayson have kept relatively low profiles, though both have occasionally appeared on family media projects, including their parents’ podcast.
However, the wider family has also faced renewed legal challenges. Lindsie Chrisley was arrested in Georgia in May 2025 on multiple driving-related charges, which she has since disputed. Kyle Chrisley was also arrested in Tennessee in December 2025 on charges including alleged domestic assault and public intoxication, with his case still ongoing.
