Citizen Tv’s 10 Over 10 host, Willis Raburu has denied rumours of him leaving the Royal Media Services owned station.
Raburu is one of the most versatile journalists Citizen Tv has at the moment. He has been hosting the Power Breakfast, 10 over 10 show and hosts a mid morning show on Hot 96.
The very funny host has been one of the fastest rising journalist in Kenya since landing the lucrative job at only 24 years old, fresh from campus.
Earlier reports indicated that Mr Raburu ‘resigned a few weeks ago and is now serving notice. It is however not clear when his last day of working is, but inside sources say he could be leaving Royal Media Services any time from now.’
Wachira Waruru, Managing Director Royal Media Services, has also refuted the claims of Willis leaving.
Romours also have it that Raburu’s wife, Mary Ngami Irungu has a problem with her husband’s interactions with the ladies on the 10 pm show.
Raburu has apparently been offered better pay by Royal Media Services in order to cement his relationship with the leading Tv station.
Willis is said to have received an offer to join a German funded NGO, an offer even his ex girlfriend Sally Mbilu could not refuse.
