    Wiper Replaces David Musila With Kivutha Kibwana As Ukambani Point man

    wiperGovernor Kivutha Kibwana has replaced former Kitui senator, David Musila as Kalonzo Musyoka’s blue-eyed man in the Kamba region.

    The governor is on an interim basis as the Wiper’s Chairman since the party is yet to hold its annual general meeting.

    Musila has been replaced after supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid. With him he took, former Mwingi West MP Bernard Kitungi and 18 politicians allied to the opposition from Makueni.

    “We cannot afford to be outside the government for another five years, so the logical thing to do is to support the winning team and be assured of development,” Mr Musila defended his support for Jubilee.

    Also replaced is former Mombasa Senator, Hassan Omar who left wiper citing personal issues. Taking his position is Senator Judith Sijeny.

    “Members met on Monday and our main agenda was to fill vacant positions. Professor Kibwana was appointed chairman and Senator Sijeny secretary general, both in acting capacity until we hold the annual general meeting,” organizing secretary Robert Mbui said.

    This comes after NASA submitted its house leadership members. John Mbadi and Junnet Mohamed were named leader of minority and minority chief whip respectively in the National Assembly.

    Their nomination has been met with a lot criticism from coastal leaders who feel that the two hailed from the same region and party. They want regional balance as well as gender equality.
