Woman Arrested With Cocaine Hidden In Private Parts On Moyale-Nairobi Bus

A 28-year-old woman was on Friday arrested with 294 grams of cocaine hidden in her private parts while traveling from Moyale to Nairobi.

According to a statement from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the suspect, identified as Jane Njeri Muigai, was apprehended by a multi-agency security team stationed at a roadblock along the Moyale-Isiolo highway.

The team had been deployed to crack down on drug trafficking networks operating between Kenya’s Northern Frontier and the capital city.

DCI said the woman’s suspicious behavior alerted female officers who isolated her for a thorough search. The officers discovered the drugs carefully concealed in her private parts.

“The guilty are always afraid,” the DCI noted, explaining the officers’ quick response to the suspect’s conduct.

The suspect was booked at Moyale Police Station as anti-narcotics officers took over the case to begin investigations and legal proceedings.
