Woman found dead after suspected murder in Siaya

A 25-year-old woman was found dead after a suspected murder in Ndori area, Siaya County.

Police are also investigating to establish if the woman was sexually abused in the Saturday December 6 incident.

Her body was found in a house in a supine position and there were signs of struggle.

A suspect was arrested over the murder, police said.

A kitchen knife and her clothes were found in the house.

Elsewhere in Melelo, Narok County, a 55-year-old man was hacked to death in his house in an attack.

Police identified him as Wilson Langat. He was attacked by the sons of a woman he was with in a house. The motive of the attack was not known, police said.

The two sons were arrested for investigations into claims of murder. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and investigations.

In Temoyetta area, Nakuru County, a man collapsed and died after being slapped in an altercation.

Police said a group was attending a circumcision session when an altercation broke out that left Ken Ngure, 33 fatally slapped.

He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival following the Saturday evening incident. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and investigations. The said assailant in the saga escaped the scene.

In Maseno, Kisumu County, police said they are investigating an incident where one Moses Nyaure, 33 was stoned to death over claims he had stolen a motorcycle.

His body was also sprayed with acid in the Saturday drama. Police said they are pursuing suspects in the murder. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy. Police discourage mob lynching and term is criminal.

And police in Muhuru Bay, Migori County are investigating murder after a human skull was found in a forest in the area.

The recovery was made in Ngore village. The remains were taken to the mortuary pending other procedures.
