    137 Feared Dead, Scores Injured After Bomb Attacks In Sri Lanka

    At least seven blasts have hit hotels and churches across Sri Lanka with at least 137 dead and many more injured.

    According to media reports, the attacks targeted Catholic faithfuls attending the Easter mass in churches and  three high end hotels.

    The first attack was launched at St. Sebastian’s Church in Negombo, a city about 20 miles north of Colombo, The other churches attacked were St. Anthony’s Shrine in Colombo and Zion Church in the eastern city of Batticaloa.

    The hotels that were attacked included the Shangri-La, the Cinnamon Grand and the Kingsbury. No one has taken responsibility of the attacks but police in the country have said that the bomb attacks were organised.
