    Zari Hassan Cancels Nairobi Visit Over Political Uncertainty

    Singer Diamond’s wife and entrepreneur Zari Hassan has canceled her visit to Kenya citing the pungent political atmosphere.

    The self acclaimed boss lady was set to visit Kenya ahead of the Founders Entrepreneurship Forum which was scheduled to take place today.The canceling of the event Zari management revealed that was on the organizers side.

    TEFO Africa  founder has issued a statement saying they consulted with the local authority and police about the political development in Nairobi and the effects of the activity that will be happening at the airport as that’s what led to the cancellation of the event.

    “Following consultation with the local authority, the police and Zari Hassan’s management it was determined that the political developments in Nairobi and the effects of the activity that will be happening at the airport, Mombasa Road and in town that same day have proved possible to pose a risk to our international speakers that were to arrive at the airport that day, guest and attendees that were due to attend,” the statement read.

    The organization is yet to set another date which they say will be communicated soon.The also apologized for any inconvenience caused especially to those who had made traveling and accommodation plans.

    TEFO focuses on creating a forum for both small and big entrepreneurs to meet and exchange ideas so as to promote growth and encourage start ups as well as giving one an opportunity to grow their network.

    The event was set to bring together key speakers including  CEO of Chandaria Industries Darshan Chandaria , Zari Hassan, Betty Kyalo just to name a few.
