Five inmates in Eldoret Prison on Thursday pleaded to be transferred from the facility citing continuous homosexual harassment.
According to the men, they are tired of other men soliciting anal sex from them everyday.
The men believed to be 18 years old and some underage, appeared before Eldoret Senior Principal Magistrate Harrison Barasa who ordered the claims to be investigated.
Barasa further ordered the young men to be taken to hospital to establish if they had suffered penetration.

Reports from the prison indicate that the men were detained at the prison on allegations of committing different criminal offences.
Their cases are yet to be determined.
The question begs, if it is established that some of the men are underage who booked them in an adult prison? Shouldn’t they be held at a juvenile detention centre?
