President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday suspended High Court Judge Said Chitembwe to pave way for investigations into alleged gross misconduct. A machine gun stolen from security forces during an operation to flush out bandits in troubled Laikipia County has been recovered. The National Police Service reported on Thursday that the weapon, a CQ machine gun which was stolen in October last year, was handed over to an assistant chief after a series of community policing and engagements with the public. A German athlete has been fined Ksh70,000 over cyber harassment in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet County. Weiss Marvin Valentin, aged 25, appeared before Iten Senior Resident Magistrate Caroline Ateya on Wednesday. Green Park Bus Terminus will commence operations on Tuesday, May 24, the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) has announced. In a public notice last night, NMS said the operations will be rolled out in phases. Police have arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the murder of Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) student Purity Wangechi. Isaac Kariuki Kibui, 22, was arrested on Monday morning at Thindigua Delish Nail bar in Kiambu county, as detectives burn the midnight oil to bring all the perpetrators in the killing to book.
