Stephane George, 8 years was on Saturday afternoon shot in Mathare area.
Stephane was a pupil at Mathare North primary school.
According to the neighbours, the girl succumbed to the gun shot injuries and has since been taken to the mortuary.
Tension has been high around Mathare area since the declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta’s presidency.
Gun shots were heard from last night as rowdy youth took to the streets.

Business has been at a stand still in the area.
Violence has been reported in Kisumu and Kibera areas.
