Kenyan soldiers in Somalia are not happy that the AU mission in Somalia (AMISOM) has reduced their allowances from a previous Ksh 1034,856 to Ksh 83,394.

In a protest letter to to AMISOM, the soldiers are demanding that their monthly mission allowance be reverted to where it was and the Commander-In-Chief’s approval be sought as is required in such changes.
