    Senior KTN Anchor, Camera Man Arrested in Kibera

    kaiberaSenior KTN news anchor Duncan Khaemba was arrested in Kibera while covering protests after the declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as president.

    The police demanded that the anchor and camera produce licences for the bullet proof  Vest and Helmet that they were wearing.

    The two were detained at Kilimani police station but released after KTN produced the licences

    Other journalists  were  blocked from covering the protests  which started on Friday Night.

    The police were forced to  fire gunshots in the air in Kibera .Mathare and Lucky summer as the residents had barricaded the roads and lit bonfires.
