Slain IEBC ICT manager, Chris Msando’s body on Friday afternoon arrived at Kisumu International Airport ahead of his burial in Ugenya.
The body arrived at 1.15 pm aboard a Kenya Airways Flight accompanied by friends and family.
Kisumu Governor elect, Anyang Nyong’o and his wife Dorothy were among leaders who received the body at the airport. Also present was Kisumu Central MP-elect Fred Ouda.
The body will be taken home by road.
The commissioner was was found dead on 31 July with deep incisions in his right arm. Alongside his remains was 21 year old, Carol Ngumbu.

The two were strangled to death.
The family led by the deceased’s widow, Eva Buyu asked that justice be served during his requiem mass at the Consolata Shrine on Thursday.
Investigations into the murders are ongoing.
