Christabel Ouko Laid To Rest At Koru Home (Photos)

The late Robert Ouko’s wife, Christabel Ouko is being laid to rest at her home in Koru , Muhoroni.

Mrs Ouko died on Monday ,21 August in a road accident at Kipsitet area along Awasi-Kericho highway on her way back from the inauguration ceremony of Kisumu County Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o.

Her sons, Charles and Kenneth Ouko during her requiem mass at CITAM Valley Road in Nairobi referred to their mother as fierce and formidable woman who held their family together.

President Uhuru Kenyatta described the deceased as a dependable, selfless and virtuous woman who loved to give back to society.

Her burial date was initially set for 1 September but was moved in anticipation of the outcome of the Supreme Court.

Present at her burial was Kisumu Governor, Anyang Nyong’o and wife Dorothy. CS Foreign Affairs, AMB. Amina Mohammed was also in attendance.
