The Kenya Police Service is in a deep mess. Problem is at the top. Demoralised and poorly paid officers is a ticking time bomb in the country.
How do we not rise up when we have at least 4 incidences of police taking their lives or the lives of others in questionable circumstances?

The current IG Boinnet is a complete failure. In this day and age we still have police officers living like dogs, poorly paid and not having social amenities to boost morale.
A police mess, gym and social centre at every divisional police headquarter would be great.
In the current situation, you have 4 police officers share a room, rely on barmaids and ladies working in restaurants for quick sex because their living conditions doesn’t give them the privacy to develop much more meaningful relationships.
When a police officer shoots a cyber attendant because of suspicion of cheating, that is a sign of a deeper problem. When police officers raid a pub and engage in a shootout over barmaids, that is a sign of a deeper problem.

We must rescue our police officers. We are destroying our brothers and sisters serving in the police service.
The normal police officer in the street is too stressed for life. Something needs to be changed and that starts from how people look at the police service.
Current bosses looks at poor junior officers as tools to enrich themselves and quell dissent.
