sauti sol Wyre the love child has finally weighed in on the ‘beef’ between Kenya’s most celebrated group, Sauti Sol and rapper King Kaka.

Kaka Sungura of the Kaka Empire in September called out the Lazizi hit makers accusing them of not promoting the local music industry.

“I wouldn’t agree with King Kaka’s sentiments. A veteran artiste helping other artistes is an individual choice to make. If one feels he or she is in a position to help then its cool and if an individual feels not to, then there is no problem with that. This is because its a very very expensive venture, it needs a lot of money and requires time and patience. You have to pay for their videos, audios, song writing and stuff that comes with that line. And where does all that money come from? It’s even harder when yourself you are an artiste because you also need to invest in your work as well as those under you,” said Wyre.

Speaking on Maisha Radio, the rapper also castigated Redsan, Nameless among other top musicians for not helping out the upcoming artistes and promoting the Kenyan music to the intentional levels.

“They (Sauti Sol) are at the top. Hao ndio number one nawa respect, I give them total respect…but ni ukweli. Hawajasaidia industry.’

“Nameless pia ako kwa hiyo list. Redsan sasa hata hajasaidia, amesaidia Chameleone uko,” he added.

Juacali, he said, is the only artiste that has made a significant contribution to the growth of Kenyan music industry adding that he (Juacali) groomed the likes of Mejja.
