Dela Maranga, popularly known as Dela on Wednesday responded to the rumors doing rounds on the interwebs.
Rumour has it that the ‘mafeelings’ hit maker is a drug addict.
She said that the rumours were ‘silly jokes’ meant to taint her image. She did however state that she would sue if the rumours interfered with her money.
“A LOT HAS BEEN SAID ABOUT ME. SOMETIMES SOME THINGS ARE SAID THAT COULD AFFECT MY LIFE. RUMORS HAVE BEEN GOING ON THAT I’M ON DRUGS. I’M NOT ON DRUGS. THAT’S NOT A FUNNY JOKE ABOUT SOMEBODY, THAT’S CHARACTER ASSASSINATION.”
“I DIDN’T TAKE IT LIGHTLY AND AT THE SAME TIME I DIDN’T WANT IT TO AFFECT ME. SOME PEOPLE SHOULD BE MORE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT THEY WRITE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE.”
Dela has been busy and has revealed that she will soon release an album. Her latest hit ‘Honey’ features a UK artiste and producer, Silverstone and is set to hit the airwaves soon.
