NASA leaders, Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi on Wednesday, 25 October transformed the coalition into a resistance movement that will push for fresh elections in 90 days.
The leaders asked his their supporters across the country to stay away from the polling stations and instead pray for the nation in their homes.
“We will convene and agree on a way to ensure that a fresh free and fair election is organised within 90 days. We call upon our supporters not to vote and to convince their neighbours not to take part in the poll because it is a Jubilee election,”Odinga said.
“We call on Kenyans who love democracy to hold vigils and prayers and stay away from polling stations. We are aware that they plan to massacre our people. Let us deny them that chance.”
The opposition asked their supporters to boycott newspapers, TV stations, products and services in order to change the country for the better.
Kenyans must remain [firm] to enjoy their right to demonstrate, protest and associate. The question we must ask ourselves is where does Kenya go from here after we allow dictatorship to be established?” Odinga posed.
Speaking at Uhuru Park, the Bungoma Senator accused the Jubilee government of intimidating the Supreme Court judges.
On Tuesday night, Deputy Chief Justice, Philomena Mwilu’s car was shot at and her body guard injured.

All this confirms that tomorrow we will not have an election because Jubilee has ensured the lead up to the election has [featured] crimes, deaths, torture and other vices by the government.”
”The journey to Canaan is unstoppable and we refuse to be the good men who did not do anything when the country was being led to the swamps. We will uproot the evil habits of pre-determined elections,” Siaya Senator, James Orengo stated.
