    ‘Star’ Eye Witness In Governor Gakuru’s Accident Arrested

    eye witnessThe eye witness present at Nyeri Governor, Wahome Gakuru and the Nakuru chopper crash accidents, Dennis Muigai Ngengi has been apprehended by the police.

    He was arrested in Naivasha on Thursday night by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and taken to Nairobi for questioning.

    Dennis who has denied being at the nakuru crash said, caught the people’s attention after he gave an account of the late Dr Gakuru’s, Kabati accident.

    The professional eye witness as many have referred to him, while speaking to Citizen Digital said that the Nakuru crash witness must have been ‘a close relative.’

    He told PLive that he has in the past been likened to so many people including, former Mungiki leader, Maina Njenga.

    Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinnet said that a probe had been launched. He said that they were looking into whether he was a police officer.

    β€œIt is said that there is an individual who appeared in both accident scenes. It is claimed that he is a police officer. I will find out if it is true he is an officer or not. If yes, then I will be interested in knowing what he was doing at those two scenes,” the IG said.

    Muigai, had earlier on said that he was friends with the late Apollo Malowa and was a state pilot but now claims that he is a businessman, into importing goods.
