Njambi Koikai, radio host has cautioned Kenyans against falling for con artists who are using her illness to con people of their hard earned money.
This came after a lady by the name Nancy Nanjala Nyongesa is said to have been using Njambi’s illness ask unsuspecting Kenyans for money.
Nanjala shared a long post on Facebook to a group known as ‘Roysambu Constituency Forum’ where she wrote her number and asked for contributions towards Ms Koikai’s treatment.
“Wakenya tusiwe wachoyo..we are known for the harambee spirit…569,463 members,,this sister of ours has an operation stand by because she needs 20,000…That’s roughly 50bob each one of us the members and her till is cleared.Not even Kenya as a whole.Kweli does doing a good thing hurt//Kesho might be you,let do it.Send your contribution to the number on the screen MPESA 0741402674.Dont be a victim of your selfishness,,be a product of your generosity,” wrote Nanjala
Njambi came forward and addressed the issue saying that the Mpesa number does not belong to her therefore Kenyans should be very cautious before sending money to anyone pretending to be collecting money for her.

“Please share this widely. Someone by the name Nancy Nanjala Nyongesa has decided to take advantage of my situation to con Kenyans. I’m not seeking to raise 20million as she states. The mpesa number shared is not my number. Thirdly, I’ve been quite open about my endometriosis journey since 2015. My family has paid all my hospital bills from then till now when we had to seek specialized treatment.
Please don’t take advantage of such a situation. It could really happen to you and you won’t know what to do. Nancy, you’re inhumane!!!” she said.
