Police officers have this afternoon (Friday 17th) lobbed teargas at NASA supporters along Wabera street outside the Supreme court who were heading to Uhuru park.

Uhuru park has since be cordoned by police as NASA is intimated to be taking their rally to Kibra grounds.

Thousands of ‘patriots’ walked from the JKIA for Raila Odinga’s grand welcome march that is now on Likoni road heading to Olympic grounds in Kibera.

The supporters including elected leaders; Members of Parliament, Senators and governors are part of the ‘patriots’ present for Odinga’s grand arrival from Dubai, as was reported.

He landed in the morning and is ‘back to serve the people of Kenya.’

Before making the detour to Dubai, he was in the US where he met congressional committee members and gave a speech at the CSIS.

But before his tour of the city, the former prime minister’s supporters engaged the police in running battles after they were blocked from making their way into the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Jubilee critics argue that the opposition supporters should have been allowed access into JKIA as were President Uhuru Kenyatta’s supporters upon his return from the ICC.
