Opposition leader Raila Odinga has claimed 36 citizens have been shot dead by police under Jubilee’s instructions.

“Last week, 31 had been shot including a 17 year old boy, today they have shot five more,” he said.

Odinga was speaking in Kibra moments after him and his entourage of fellow leaders were tear-gassed in Jacaranda, Embakasi where he declared that on the 12 December, he shall be declared the President and ascend to state house.

“We have just arrived in Kibra from Jacaranda where we were supposed to hold memorials for our fallen supporters but have been teargassed Jubilee’s violent regime.”

He claimed police have shot five of his supporters today this bringing the number to 36 up from 31 last week.

Wails rented the air as Odinga led supporters and other leader in praying for those who lost their lives in the melee that followed his homecoming barely a fortnight ago.

Co-Principal Musalia Mudavadi said there was need to review the Constitution and called for police reforms.
