Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho is allegedly unwell and has been hospitalized in a Mombasa hospital.
It is not yet clear what ails the county boss but the Nation on Tuesday reported that he (Joho) was admitted and his room heavily guarded.
This comes at a time when the government has suspended passports belonging to high ranking NASA members, Joho being one of them.
Jimmy Wanjigi, James Orengo, David Ndii, also had their passports revoked.
The state has also deported NRM general, Miguna Miguna who oversaw the ‘illegal’ swearing in of Raila Odinga.
