Elsewhere in Kwanza, Trans Nzoia County’s Sikoreria village of Maridadi Sub Location one Hellen Amukope, 38 was found dead in her house.

Preliminary investigation revealed that her husband assaulted the deceased on the forehead using a hammer and stabbed her on the buttocks using a sharp object.

She succumbed to the injuries in her bed, police said. The said assailant escaped the scene as police arrived there and picked up the body to the mortuary pending an autopsy.

Police said the hunt for the man is ongoing and urged him to surrender to authorities for action.
