Jürgen Vogel, born Jürgen Peter Vogel on April 29, 1968, in Hamburg, West Germany, is a prominent German actor and producer known for his versatile roles in film and television.

He grew up as the son of a waiter and a housewife, working as a child model before taking on various odd jobs and briefly attending drama school in Munich.

After moving to Berlin in 1985, Vogel shared an apartment with actor Richy Müller and drew inspiration from films like Taxi Driver, which fueled his passion for acting.

In his personal life, he has built a large patchwork family, fathering six children across multiple relationships, including a daughter born in 1988 from an early partnership, adopting two sons from his former wife Madeleine Sommerfeld (whom he married in 1997 and later divorced), another daughter born in 1999, a son born in 2009 with assistant director Michelle Gornick, and a daughter born in 2019 with his current wife, actress Natalia Belitski.
