Detectives are investigating an incident where an electronic technician was found murdered on the balcony of the Corner House along Kimathi Street, Nairobi.
The body was found on the balcony of the mezzanine floor long after his murder and lying in a pool of blood. He was identified as Gideon Kuria, 29. The motive of the murder was not immediately established, police said, adding the body had injuries in the forehead and mouth.
His left wrist had dislocated when the body was picked up to the mortuary pending an autopsy. The deceased was a tenant at the building and the body was discovered on February 8, 2026 afternoon long after the murder.
Elsewhere in Kayole, Nairobi, a caretaker of a house was found dead in his room. Police said the body of Simon Gitau did not have any visible injuries when they found it on Sunday long after his death. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
In Isebania, the body of one James Oganga, 45 was found with deep cuts on the head and lying in his house.
The motive of the murder was not known. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy, police said adding they were looking for a known suspect in the murder.
Meanwhile, a suspect was lynched in a failed robbery of mobile phones in Parklands area, Nairobi. His accomplice managed to escape in the drama on February 8. The police said the motorcycle that the suspects were using in the mission was damaged. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.
Police discourage mob lynching incidents and want suspects to be surrendered to authorities for processing and possible arraignment.
