    Kenyatta and Maseno Universities Open Job Vacancies

    Kenyatta University and Maseno University have announced new job opportunities for qualified candidates. The advertisements were released through notices dated Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

    Kenyatta University is recruiting part-time lecturers across various disciplines. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university and have at least three years of teaching experience at the university level, in research, or in industry. Candidates with four years of teaching experience at a tertiary institution will also be considered, and a PhD in the relevant field will be an added advantage.

    Interested candidates are required to indicate their area of specialization, academic qualifications, work experience, and current place of employment. Applications should include a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic certificates, testimonials, a copy of the national ID or passport, and any other supporting documents. Applications must be submitted directly to:

    Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration & Finance), Kenyatta University, P.O. Box 43844 – 00100, Nairobi.

    The application deadline is April 21, 2026. The university emphasized that it is an equal opportunity employer and that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

    Maseno University has also advertised teaching positions in the Schools of Agriculture, Food Security, Environmental Science, Law, Physical and Biological Sciences, and Medicine. Additionally, the university is seeking candidates for the Directorate of e-Campus.

    Applications must be submitted by April 5, 2026, and addressed to:

    Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration, Finance and Development), Maseno University, P.O. Box 333 – 40105, Maseno.
