King Harris, the son of T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris, has been arrested following a traffic stop in Georgia that quickly gained attention online.

According to authorities in Gwinnett County, the 20-year-old rapper was pulled over in the early hours of Sunday morning after allegedly driving at 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. Officers reported spotting a firearm in the vehicle and instructed Harris to exit the car, but he reportedly refused, leading to his arrest.

Police also indicated that a vape pen containing THC was found during the stop. Harris was subsequently booked on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, along with a misdemeanor charge of willful obstruction of law enforcement officers. He was also issued traffic citations for speeding and failing to wear a seatbelt.

The incident drew widespread attention due to Harris’ unusual attire at the time of arrest — a Pikachu onesie inspired by the popular franchise Pokémon. The rapper later appeared to make light of the situation on social media, sharing an image referencing the arrest and joking about being “caught.”

He also posted additional content after the incident, including messages directed at law enforcement, further fueling online reactions.

This is not Harris’ first encounter with the law. In 2024, he was arrested following a separate traffic incident in which officers alleged he nearly collided with a police vehicle. During that stop, authorities reported detecting the smell of marijuana and discovered an outstanding warrant related to failure to appear in court.
