Mika Zibanejad is a Swedish professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Career
Zibanejad began his professional career in Sweden with Djurgårdens IF before making the jump to the NHL.
He debuted with the Ottawa Senators shortly after being drafted and spent five seasons there, developing into a reliable centre.
In July 2016, he was traded to the New York Rangers in exchange for Derick Brassard.
With the Rangers, Zibanejad quickly established himself as a key offensive player and leader, serving as an alternate captain since the 2018-19 season.
