We sure were not well aware of this but it seems that Apple finally recruited the premium resellers as we reported that they were looking for some and they even launched the iPad 2 in Nairobi. So the launch was on Wednesday conducted by MCI which is the Apple Authorised distributor in charge of even Kenya.
Only Elite Digital Systems and Personal systems will be selling the ipad. Prices are as below

The local launch will make it easy to acquire an iPad unlike before when we had to rely on some sellers who sometime charge the iPads in the range of Ksh 160,000 for very low-end versions.
