Alejandro “Alex” Zendejas Saavedra is a professional soccer player who plays as a winger for Liga MX club Club América and the United States men’s national team.
Born on February 7, 1998, in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, he moved to El Paso, Texas, at six months old and was raised in the United States.

Career
Zendejas began his career in the FC Dallas academy and made his MLS debut as a teenager in 2015.
In 2016, he transferred to Liga MX powerhouse C.D. Guadalajara (Chivas), where he contributed to a Clausura league title and Copa MX success, though playing time was limited.
He gained valuable experience on loan at Zacatepec before moving to Necaxa in 2020, where he broke out with 11 goals in two seasons.
In 2022, Zendejas joined Club América, Chivas’ arch-rivals.
He quickly became a creative force and leader for the team, helping drive a dominant era that included multiple Liga MX titles.
