    eCitizen services to be unavailable on Saturday night

    The Directorate of eCitizen Services has announced that all services on the eCitizen platform will be temporarily unavailable on Saturday, July 18, 2026, to allow for scheduled system maintenance.

    In a public notice, the Directorate said the maintenance exercise will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight.

    According to the Directorate, the planned maintenance is aimed at upgrading the eCitizen platform as part of ongoing efforts to improve service delivery.

    “The maintenance is necessary to facilitate an upgrade of the eCitizen platform as part of ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery,” the statement said.

    During the maintenance window, all eCitizen services will be temporarily inaccessible.

    The Directorate apologised for any inconvenience.
