An Officer stationed at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters is pursuing Pastor Paul Akhonya who is said to have hurt prophet Owuor’s feelings through his criticisms.

The police have been tracking down Kevin Ndungu Kiriga and the pastor who has been posting a video titled ‘Exposing the heresies and deception of Mightiest Prophet Dr David Owuor ‘ on his Facebook page criticizing prophet Owuor and his preaching. They even at some point took his phone.

The police have allegedly been harassing the family members of Kevin Kiriga in order to find out his whereabouts.

According to an affidavit sworn by a the investigating officer, complaint was filed by Julius Ondego Mulera on behalf of Prophet Owuor who said that they had been receiving abusive and insulting videos and messages on social media platforms which were inciting their congregation.

The police were requesting that the court issues a warrant to search the premises of the respondents Kevin Ndungu and Pastor Paul Akhonya.

The police man was later recorded summoning the pastor to Nairobi for allegedly hurting the feelings of the Prophet.

Here is a recording between the police officer and Pastor Akhonya:

Last week blogger Abraham Mutai said that he had received threatening messages after questioning the entry of prophet Owuor when he held his three day crusade at Central park.

He arrived in a convoy of expensive vehicles and was fully protected by police officers.

Mutai now claims that the Repentance and Holiness church leader is using state machinery which is at his disposal to silence those who are brave enough to ask questions.
