Miss Langata prison Ruth Kamnde has been sentenced to death for killing her boyfriend Farid Mohamed in September of 2015.
She was found guilty of stabbing her partner 22 times after finding a text from another lady on Farid’s phone.

Friends close to Farid said that they had been in an off and on relationship with her boyfriend who had moved on to another relationship before the fateful night.
Ruth Kamande’s lawyer in her submissions said that she had changed and converted to Islam and was taking up Theology classes.
She had earlier said that she plans to write the true story of her life.
“I want to write my story someday. My first story will be my life in prison then the story of my whole life will follow,” said Kamande,
She now joins the death row convicts who were last executed in 1989.
