Antonio Eromonsele Nordby Nusa is a Norwegian professional footballer born on April 17, 2005, in Langhus, Norway.

He plays as a winger or attacking midfielder for Bundesliga club RB Leipzig and the Norway national team.

He is widely known for his explosive pace, technical ability, dribbling skills, and direct style of play, which have earned him the nickname “Norwegian Neymar.”

Born to a Norwegian mother, Kristin Hedelund Nordby, and a Nigerian father, Joe Nusa, a former footballer who played in Nigeria and later for Norwegian clubs including Follo FK, Nusa was eligible to represent either country internationally but committed to Norway from a young age.

In 2026 he also released a book titled Alt starter med en drøm about his journey.

    Siblings

Antonio has two younger sisters, Keisha and Ellie.

Keisha, the older of the two sisters, has spoken in interviews about how surreal it feels to see her brother become a national star, noting that to her he remains simply her brother and that the attention around him developed very quickly.

Ellie, the youngest, was still a young child when Antonio left home as a teenager to pursue his career abroad.

Nusa has tattooed their names on his thighs.

    Career

Nusa began playing organized football at local club Langhus before joining the youth ranks of Stabæk at age 13.

He signed his first professional contract with Stabæk in 2020 and made his senior debut in the Eliteserien in 2021 while still a teenager, quickly making an impact with goals, including a two-goal performance early in his career.

Later that year he transferred to Belgian side Club Brugge.

There he continued his rapid rise, becoming one of the club’s youngest scorers and, in September 2022, scoring on his UEFA Champions League debut in a 4-0 win away to Porto.

At the time he was the youngest Norwegian to appear in the competition and the second-youngest player of any nationality to score in it.

He featured regularly over several seasons in Belgium before moving to RB Leipzig in the German Bundesliga in August 2024 on a long-term contract.

At Leipzig he has worn the number 7 and contributed goals and assists in league play.

Internationally, after progressing through Norway’s youth teams, he earned his senior debut in 2023 and scored in that first appearance against Jordan.

He became a regular in the national side, contributed strongly during the successful 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign, and featured for Norway at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he scored in the round-of-32 victory over Côte d’Ivoire.

    Accolades

With Club Brugge, Nusa won the Belgian Pro League titles in the 2021–22 and 2023–24 seasons as well as the Belgian Super Cup in 2022.

On an individual level he holds several age-related milestones, including being among the youngest goalscorers in Club Brugge history, the youngest Norwegian to play in the Champions League, and the second-youngest player overall to score on a Champions League debut at the time of his Porto goal.

For Norway he has accumulated a substantial number of senior caps and goals by his early twenties and played a notable role in the team’s 2026 World Cup campaign.
