    ‘Jacque Maribe Is Still Our Employee,’ Royal Media Services Declares

    Royal Media services has said that they support their employee Jacque Maribe saying that they also support her application to be released on bail.

    According to Royal media services her position at the station was still intact as they said that she had only takenleave to attend to personal matters.

    The Managing director Wachira Waruru described Maribe as a competent worker who rose the ranks from being a reporter.

    Maribe joined the company as a reporter on Citizen Television and was later promoted to the position of senior reporter on the same station. Arising from the promotion, she was assigned huge national and international events which she undertook successfully. Recently due to her exceptional performance, she has been appointed to the position of Friday’s prime time news anchor on Citizen Television,” he said

    The Managing Director spoke highly of his news anchor and recommended that she released on bail stating that she would not skip bail.

    “Having engaged her for the last six years, and assessing her performance, we hereby vouch for her character and recommend for her admission to bail,” he stated.

    Jacque Maribe was arrested on September 29 following the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani at her house in Kilimani. He fiance Jowie Irungu was is accused of being responsible for the murder as he was the last person to be seen with the deceased.

    Maribe has maintained that she had no involvement and that she was just a victim of love and the was at the time of the incident in love with the person the prosecution was interested in.
