    DCJ Mwilu’s Employee Arrested For Giving False Statement On His Abduction

    Police have arrested and dismissed a report filed by an employee at Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu’s house who claimed that he had been abducted by unknown assailants who demanded to know the residence of the DCJ.

    According to the report filed by Cosmas Mutua Daudi on November 8, 2017 he was followed by three men from Nakumatt Junction Mall where he had gone shopping. He said that the three men forced him to board a motorcycle and took him to Elgeyo Marakwet Road.

    Police after investigations stated that Mr. Mutua had given a false statements on the incident stating that it never happened.

    He will be arraigned in court on November 5, the police report stated.

    There was no such incident. He was arrested and booked under OB. NO 74/2/11/2018 and will be arraigned on November 5,” the statement said.
