Jacque Maribe’s fiance Joseph Irungu alias Jowie has been moved to Kamiti maximum prison after being in remand prison at Industrial area for more than a month.
His close friend Joe Muchiri disclosed that Jowie was in Kamiti station and that the prison was not a joke. He took to Twitter to tell how Jowie was struggling at the maximum security prison.
The Kamiti prison is structured to handle hard core criminals and therefore Jowie was struggling with the new environment.

Muchiri was lauded for a being a good friend during Irungu’s trying times.

Jowie had complained that he was not receiving treatment for his gun shot wound at the Kenyatta National Hospital. The huge debt that the prison owed the referral hospital barred him from receiving adequate treatment.
His lawyers said that he was only given pain killers during his visits.
Jowie is accused of murdering 28 year old businesswoman Monica Kimani at her Lamuria Apartments in Nairobi.
