A prayer by COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli for those behind the maize scandal has excited internet users.
Speaking in Eldoret during the 7th graduation ceremony of Nehema Institute on Saturday, the trade unionist noted that those stealing from the maize farmers come from within the region.
For the thieves, Atwoli asked God to “send your Son and angels to remove those thieves”.
He also asked that God rids Kenya of corrupt officials so that the country can change for the better.
“He (God) brought us to a country that is full hyenas and in the jaws of the dogs and He should deliver the country. God touch the heart of President so that he can save us.”
The COTU boss also remembered all those behind his being kicked out of the NSSF boar as well as those “greedy” officials that stole the NHIF monies.
