Governor Obado and Miguna Miguna were among the top Kenyan personalities that aroused Kenyans curiosity on google in 2018.
Miguna came in third on the list while Obado came in sixth in this years google searches. The controversial lawyer trended during his arrest and deportation from Kenya while the Migori governor made the top ten searches after the death of his girlfriend Sharon Otieno.
Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe was also among the most searched personalities after she was charged for the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani alongside fiancee Jowie Irungu.
Other personalities who featured on the list were Kanze Dena after her appointment as the State house spokes person replacing Manoah Esipisu. She also trended for allegedly wearing the same shirt as president Uhuru in one of the functions.
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino also had a moment of google search fame after he pleaded with president Uhuru Kenyatta in order to retain his seat after the High court nullified his election citing irregularities. The court of Appeal quashed the decision of the High court.

Tanzanian Musician Rose Muhando was also searched after evil spirits were exorcised by controversial pastor Ng’anga of the Neno Evangelist Ministries.
Kenyan also searched for the meaning of riparian land after demolitions of malls and buildings took centre stage.
