Kibra MP Ken Okoth is alive and kicking amid rumours of his demise, he has said.

According to ODM Communications Director, Philip Etale, the legislator who is battling stage four colorectal cancer with metastases to the liver, is well and has asked those spreading rumours “to stop killing me before my time.”

Etale also asked netizens to cease spreading fake news when it is touching on people’s lives.

“Dear #KOT kindly let’s avoid FAKE alarming news particularly when it touches on the life of a fellow human being. Let’s be human,” he said.

Last month, the lawmaker told Kenyans that he was still managing his condition but noted that the chemo drugs have been brutal.

“Napambana na hali yangu kabisa. (I’m fighting with it). Chemo drugs are brutal on the skin and immunity system.” he tweeted.

Kenyans rallied behind the legislator wishing him well.
