Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki has faced the wrath of Kenyans on Twitter after images emerged of him launching county toilets that are ridiculously small in size.

According to KOT, the toilet that the governor launched was smaller than his Land Cruiser V8 vehicle that transported him to the location.

Kenyans were haste to also assert that the fuel his car consumes alone can be used to build an even bigger toilet compared to the one constructed already.

What puzzled even more was the presence of residents who surrounded the governors looking enthusiastic over his presence in the area.

A netizen stated: “What’s even more unfortunate are the sycophants that turned up to receive him. The same people will vote him in come next election.”

According to reports, the two toilet project is claimed to have cost the county Ksh2 million shillings.

In the recent past, the governor has been reported to transverse his county launching various projects.

On Tuesday he noted that he was in Kathangacini in Tharaka Sub county to launch street lights.

Posting on his social media platform, the governor mentioned: “This now means more access to markets, more reading time for our children, enhanced security, more working hours for traders, power to hospitals.”
