AccessKenya is set to become the first ISP to launch a physical retail store in the country. The launch will be on Thursday 10th 2011 at 8.45 a.m.  at Westgate Shopping Mall in Westlands. AccessKenya looks to “bring a hi-tech experiential “internet and IT world” closer to the customer”.

The company looks to  introduce new distribution channels to make its services more accessible including appointing agents and dealers.

The store will be a fully experiential area where clients will be able to test and experience fast internet speeds through the company’s metro fibre, see the possibilities open to them with our connections. Clients in the Retail store will be able to experience gaming, live streaming, internet TV and the ultimate internet enabled printing solution which enables one to print documents and photos from any internet connected gadget including their phones.

As long as one has an internet connection on their device they can print from anywhere in the world to anywhere else in the world.  The store is mainly designed to be a retail experience and a selling point for AccessKenya services as well as payment of bills.

AcessKenya is also sponsoring a movie at the SilverBird Cinemas on the same day. Guests will be watching the BATTLE: LOS ANGELS from 7pm.
