    Garissa DCIO among ten people injured in Ukasi accident that occurred along Mwingi-Garissa road early today.

    The accident involved City Link Bus at Ukasi stretch along Mwingi – Garissa road with unconfirmed number of people said to be caught up in the accident.

    In a separate incident yesterday, several people were reported injured after a truck rammed into 8 vehicles along Mai Mahiu-Limuru escarpment.

    In a report by the Standard, the truck was said to have developed mechanical problems and rammed onto oncoming vehicles before finally crashing near the Italian Catholic Church.

    The accident caused massive gridlock, with police officers calling upon motorists to use alternative routes.

    In another separate incident on Wednesday, two lives were lost in Nyamira County after a matatu collided with a truck along Sotik-Keroka Road.

    It was reported that the truck rammed into the 14-seater matatu head on while trying to avoid the cess collection point.
