    AFC Leopards Appoint Old Boy Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani As Assistant Coach

    AFC Leopards have appointed former captain Anthony Kimani ‘Modo’ as the new club assistant coach.

    The former AFC Leopards and Kenya captain has signed a two year deal with the club.

    Modo who who plied his trade at Ingwe between 2013-15 will assist head coach Andre Casa Mbungo in changing fortunes at Leopards who currently sit 16th in the Kenya Premier League table(KPL)

    For much of the season, the 13-time Kenyan champions have lacked an assistant coach with the club’s Football Operations Manager Tom Juma filling in the void.

    According to the club, Modo’s experience, hard work and good leadership skills were a key factor in his appointment.
