The Armed Forces Canteen Organisation’s shop inside Moi Airbase in Eastleigh has this evening been burnt to ashes. The fire which has not been explained is now being blamed on terrorists by soldiers inside the heavily guarded compound.

Fire started around 5pm on Sunday and razed the facility till around 7PM when it was contained after gutting down everything inside the shop plus the premise. The shop which serves only the military and their family with subsidised goods, is a famous meeting point for the military officers.

Now some soldiers from the garrison believe that the fire was not an accident.
