Her parents, Mindy and Jonathan, are American, and at the time of her birth, her father was performing in Germany as an opera singer. The family relocated to Long Beach, California, when Mack was two years old. At the age of four, she began appearing in commercials and print advertisements, including those for a German chocolate company.
